Finelo reviews: The charge after week 4, how to cancel, and how refunds work

Finelo is a trading education app, and the company behind it is real. The $19.99 price covers the first 4 weeks only. Finelo's pricing page, billing help, and subscription terms do not show the price after that.

The plan renews by itself, so cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.

The pricing page headline offers a 28-day start for as little as $20.

Finelo's Terms, revised 12 August 2026, say that an introductory offer that you do not cancel turns into a paid subscription.

This guide covers the renewal charge and the cancellation steps for each place you can pay.

It also covers the refund rules and the limits of the AI Trading Bot.

The short version

  • Before you pay: $19.99 buys the first 4 weeks of a 4 week plan. Finelo does not print the price after that.

  • Already charged: cancel in the place where you paid, at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are not promised.

  • AI trading bots: no trade goes out until you approve it, and every order is a fixed $20.

Pricing and terms verified 11 October 2026 from Finelo's pricing page, Terms, and support pages.

Is Finelo legit or a scam?

Finelo is a real company that sells a subscription app. Its legal pages name Finelo Limited, Georgiou A, 83, Shop 17, Potamos Germasogeias, 4047 Limassol, Cyprus. The app teaches trading with short lessons and a practice mode that uses virtual money.

Finelo's Terms say it is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or trading platform. They also say it is not registered as one with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Some one-star reviews on Trustpilot use the word scam. They point to an ad that promised AI trading and to a refund that never came.

Both are about billing and expectations, and the sections below cover each one.

Nothing here is investment advice, and no app can promise a profit.

What does Finelo cost after the first 4 weeks?

The Finelo pricing page shows $19.99 for the first 4 weeks. It calls this a first month discount price for the 4 week plan. The headline figure of $20 is that same first period. The page does not show what the plan costs next.

Finelo's billing help page lists two plans, a 4 week plan and a 12 week plan. Charges come every 4 or 12 weeks, not every month.

Finelo's Terms add the rule that matters most. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before an introductory offer ends, it becomes a subscription.

The Terms say you are then "automatically charged a full price for the subscription plan without notice." They also say Finelo can change prices and will tell you by posting them or sending a message.

A help page says a note near the Get My Plan button explains the switch to a regular subscription. Read that screen before you pay. Take a screenshot of the price on it.

Here is what the billing cycle does in a year.

A year has 52 weeks. A 4 week plan renews every 4 weeks. 52 divided by 4 is 13.

So a 4 week plan charges 13 times in the first 52 weeks. A plan billed monthly would charge 12 times.

Only the first of the 13 charges in a year on a 4 week plan is the $19.99 price.

Finelo's pricing page does not show the amount of the other 12.

How do I cancel Finelo?

Cancel Finelo in the place where you paid. Finelo's help page says the steps depend on that place.

  • Paid on the Finelo website: log in to your profile, open Settings, choose Manage Subscription, then Cancel Subscription. You finish on the web app at app.finelo.com. This holds even if you later downloaded the app from the App Store.

Apple's settings will not list a website subscription.

  • Paid in the App Store: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, pick Finelo, and tap Cancel.

  • Paid in Google Play: open the Play Store and tap the icon in the top right corner. Choose Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Finelo.

The Finelo Support Center lists the same steps. Its website steps begin by naming a different brand, Coursiv. The lines after that point to Profile, Settings, and Manage Subscription on app.finelo.com.

Finelo's Subscription Terms give three rules. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel anything.

After you cancel, you keep access until the period ends. The Terms add that your next payment date is listed under the Subscription link on your Account page.

Finelo's help center says there is no pause option. You can cancel and sign up again later.

Can I get a refund from Finelo?

Finelo's refund policy, updated 20 February 2026, lists no money back guarantee. It says payments are generally not refundable. Finelo may approve some requests case by case, at its sole discretion. A refund can usually be claimed only during the subscription period.

Where you paid for Finelo decides who handles a refund request.

  • Website: email support@finelo.com or send a ticket through the Support Center. Say you want a refund and give the reason. This also applies if you later downloaded the app from an app store.

  • App Store: Apple decides. Go to Apple Support, then Purchases and Refunds, then Start a refund request. Finelo's help page says to expect an update in 24 to 48 hours.

  • Google Play: email support@finelo.com with your order ID.

  • EEA or Switzerland: you can withdraw within 14 days of entering the contract. Finelo deducts an amount in proportion to the service you already used.

The Subscription Terms add two limits. After the subscription period ends, Finelo says it cannot refund you. Single digital items, such as a PDF guide, are not refundable.

What do Finelo reviews and complaints show on Trustpilot?

Trustpilot shows 4.5 from 51,090 reviews on 11 October 2026. Of those, 38,882 came in the last 12 months. The stars split 66% five-star, 25% four-star, 6% three-star, under 1% two-star, and 2% one-star. The App Store shows 4.6 from 101K ratings.

Finelo asks customers to review, and Trustpilot labels each review. 15 of the 20 newest reviews that day carry the Invited label.

Trustpilot also shows that Finelo replied to 100% of negative reviews. For any app, how to check a tool before you pay starts with who wrote the reviews.

The one-star reviews on 11 October 2026 cover several problems. They include login trouble, confusion about buying, charges after the first period, refunds, and the AI promise in ads.

One reviewer says an ad described AI that trades for you. The AI tools then cost three times the first price.

Another says Finelo's reply was that the account stays active until the period ends. A third, paying in euros, says €48.39 was taken every month. More than €150 had left that account before they noticed.

The claims above come from reviewers. Finelo's pages do not let you check those amounts.

How does the Finelo AI Trading Bot work, and what can one trade lose?

The AI Trading Bot does not trade on its own. Finelo's Terms say a real order needs a connected brokerage account. No trade is sent until you approve it.

Finelo's challenges page says brokerage connection depends on your region.

Every order is a fixed $20. The Terms say the size is the same for every bot, and you cannot change it.

Each bot closes a trade if the price falls or rises by a set percent. For crypto, the bot can also open short trades, with the exits mirrored. The table is for buy trades.

Take Finelo's AI Capital Guard bot. It closes a trade if the price falls 2%. 2% of $20 is $0.40. It can send up to 5 signals a day. If you approve all 5 and every one falls 2%, you lose $2.00. The table shows the same math for each bot.

Finelo's own example calls these dollar outcomes approximate, because the price can move before an order fills. Its Terms also warn that trading can lose your entire investment.

What is the Vfinelo charge on my bank statement?

Finelo's bank charge page lists 18 names that can appear on a statement. They include vfinelo, vfineloio, finelo.com^Limassol, fnlo.app and SPL=finelo.com. Finelo says all of them are Finelo charges.

The same page gives the support email and the Support Center for charges you do not recognize.

Skip the extras offer after you pay

After your main purchase, Finelo may show an offer for extra tools. Finelo's help page, modified 30 November 2025, says the offer is optional.

Tap Skip in the top right corner. Sometimes you must tap it twice.

Do not tap Buy and Add to My Plan, because that confirms a purchase.

Who is Finelo best for?

  • Complete beginners who want practice. Finelo's help page says the practice account starts with $1,000 in virtual money. Profits there cannot be withdrawn.

  • People who want an AI that trades for them. The Terms describe something narrower. You connect a brokerage, approve each trade and accept a fixed $20 order.

If you want stock research instead of lessons, see these Seeking Alpha alternatives.

  • People who need one clear price. Finelo's pricing page shows only the first period. Wait until the payment screen shows the price you will pay next.

  • Experienced traders. Finelo calls its app a beginner friendly learning place. Check whether the 28 day lessons sit above your level before you pay.

  • Anyone with a charge already. Use the cancel steps above, then ask for a refund by the route for where you paid.

Who runs Finelo, and how do disputes work?

Finelo Limited in Limassol, Cyprus runs the app. Its Terms send disputes to binding arbitration and waive class actions. Small claims court is an exception.

Before you file, you send a signed written notice to Finelo's Limassol address. Then both sides talk for 60 days, including one video call.

If you first made an account on or after 30 August 2025, you can opt out of arbitration.

Email support@finelo.com within 30 days of the terms date or your first use of the service. This is not legal advice.

Finelo Reviews Questions

Does Finelo work?

Finelo teaches with short daily lessons, 28-day challenges, and a practice mode with virtual money. Trustpilot reviewers rate it 4.5. Nothing in its Terms promises a profit.

Can you make money using Finelo?

Not in the practice mode, where profits are virtual and cannot be withdrawn. Real trades need a connected brokerage. The Terms warn you can lose your entire investment.

Does Finelo use real money?

The practice mode uses virtual funds. Real orders go out only through your connected brokerage. You approve each trade first, and your region must allow it. The subscription itself is a real charge.

Is there a free Finelo trial?

The pricing page lists a first month discount price of $19.99, not a free trial. The Subscription Terms describe a paid trial. It converts to a subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

Can I pause my Finelo subscription?

No. Finelo's help page says it does not allow a pause. You can cancel and sign up again later.

Is Finelo worth it for beginners?

Finelo calls itself beginner friendly, and its Trustpilot score is 4.5. Whether it is worth the price depends on the amount charged after week 4.

Finelo's pricing page does not show that amount, so read the payment screen first.

Your next step

If you have not paid yet, read the payment screen for the price after week 4 and the cancel rule. If it shows no clear price, you can wait. If you are already paying, find where you paid. Cancel at least 24 hours before your next payment date.

Then email support@finelo.com the same day to ask for a refund. To list every subscription you pay for in one place, use the SaaS Spend Calculator.

Finelo's pages do not print the exact price after week 4, so no guide can give you that figure.
