Skedda alternatives, Picked for offices that outgrew simple desk booking

For desks, rooms, visitors, and coworking billing in one product, pick Archie. Desk booking starts at $159 a month on Starter, priced per bookable desk.

OfficeRnD suits coworking operators and landlords.

Robin suits companies with 500 or more employees. Deskbird suits European teams that want per-user pricing.

Envoy suits regulated offices where visitor management is the main need.

Why teams move off Skedda

Skedda earned its place by keeping things simple. If you just need a clean way for people to book desks and rooms, Skedda does that with little setup and no enterprise weight.

Hybrid work rarely stays that simple for long. Once a workplace team runs the office day to day, requests pile up:

  • Visitor check-in at reception

  • Room displays on meeting room doors

  • Booking inside Microsoft Teams, not in another browser tab

  • Data that shows whether to renew the lease

  • All of it across six locations, with single sign-on

Those extras around the booking are where most teams make their final choice.

Also check the pricing unit, because it decides your bill more than the feature list does.

Paying per bookable desk, per active user, or per location gives very different totals for the same headcount.

This table shows how each tool charges and who it suits.

Visitor management in regulated industries

1. Archie

Best for: workplace teams that want one product for desks, rooms, visitors and coworking.

Archie is based in Montréal. For its price, it covers the most ground in this list. Desk booking, meeting room scheduling, visitor management, and full coworking operations come in one product.

A workplace team can replace a booking tool, a visitor system, and a billing stack at once.

Pricing is fully published, which sets Archie apart from the enterprise vendors here:

  • Desk booking on Starter costs $159 a month.

  • Desk booking on Pro costs $249 a month.

Prices are per bookable desk, not by employee. You can also buy each module on its own.

Archie holds SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance. Pro adds SSO and SCIM provisioning.

You also get interactive floor plans, occupancy reports, and dedicated apps for kiosks and room displays.

Its review scores are the strongest in the category, at 4.9 on both G2 and Capterra. In 2026, G2 gave it awards for Highest ROI and Best Usability.

2. OfficeRnD

Best for: coworking operators and landlords who also run their own office.

OfficeRnD is the closest match to Archie in structure. It runs two product lines from Sofia, with offices in Boston, Atlanta, London and Melbourne:

  • Workplace, for hybrid employers

  • Flex, for coworking operators and landlords

Workplace covers desk and room booking, interactive maps, team neighborhoods, usage reports, digital signage and internal ticketing. Visitor management is a paid add-on called Visitor Hub.

Pricing is published and also goes by bookable resource:

  • Starts at $265 a month, with resources at $2.70 each.

  • Professional costs from $532, with resources at $4 each.

  • Enterprise is custom.

Paying for the whole year takes 25% off. Higher education gets 15% off.

OfficeRnD has the most certifications at this price point: ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, and GDPR. It supports more than 3,500 spaces in over 50 countries.

  • Founded: 2015

  • Services: desk booking and hoteling, meeting room booking, interactive maps and floor plans, team neighborhoods, visitor management, delivery management, usage and compliance reports

Digital signage and room displays, internal ticketing, coworking billing, contracts and member management, Growth Hub and Data Hub

  • Clients: logos on its pricing page include Novartis, Yamaha, Xerox, Dexus and the University of Maryland. Case studies cover Müller across 22 locations, Tavistock, Workbar, Common Desk and iQ Offices.

3. Robin

Best for: large companies that need scenario planning and move management.

Robin is based in Boston and is the most clearly enterprise option here. It says so openly. The platform is built for companies with 500 or more employees, where at least a third use the office regularly.

That focus shows in the depth:

  • Scenario planning and move management alongside booking

  • A drag-and-drop map editor

  • Badge printing and arrival displays

  • Issue ticketing with a live issue map

  • Workplace reports that sync with access control and with occupancy sensors from VergeSense

Gartner named Robin a Leader in its first Magic Quadrant for Workplace Experience Applications. Robin also moved early on AI agents.

Its Robin agent works inside Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot.

Know the limits before you buy. Pricing is quote-only; every plan is paid yearly, and several features are paid add-ons.

  • Founded: 2014

  • Services: desk, room, parking, and locker booking, shared assigned desks, space management with map editor and scenario planning, neighborhoods and move management

Visitor management with badge printing and deliveries, employee surveys and hybrid policies, workplace issue ticketing, catering and AV requests, workplace reports with sensor and access control integrations

  • Clients: Shopify, Sanofi, Autodesk, UNICEF, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, TeamViewer, athenahealth, CIBC, Air France, Crocs, Riot Games, Kayak and FactSet

4. Deskbird

Best for: European teams that want per-user pricing and deep HR integrations.

Deskbird is based in Switzerland. It is the strongest European option, and the one to pick if data location matters. It is built and hosted in Europe, with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification.

That is stronger compliance than most tools at its price.

It charges per active user, not per desk:

  • It costs $3.75 for each user, each month, paid for the whole year, starting at 25 users.

  • Professional and Enterprise are custom.

  • A Starter plan is capped at 15 users.

Its integrations set it apart. Besides Teams, Slack, and Outlook, Deskbird syncs with many HR and payroll systems. These include Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Personio, BambooHR, HiBob, and ADP. It also connects to ServiceNow and Jira.

If you are reviewing those systems as well, see our BambooHR alternatives, ServiceNow alternatives, and Jira alternatives.

Deskbird raised a $23 million Series B led by Octopus Ventures in 2025. Visitor management, room kiosks, and SAML/SCIM are paid add-ons.

  • Founded: 2020

  • Services: desk booking, meeting room booking, parking booking, visitor management, interactive floor plans with an AI floor plan designer, hybrid scheduling and policies

Workplace and workforce reports, workplace ticketing, events, surveys and sentiment, compliance and safety management, digital room signage and kiosks, automatic check-in

  • Clients: Samsung, Deloitte, Philips, AON, Schaeffler and Airbus, with case studies including CANCOM Austria and IU Group. It serves more than 10,000 offices and over 250,000 users worldwide.

5. Envoy

Best for: offices where visitor management is the real problem, especially in regulated industries.

Envoy came to this market from the other side. It started with visitor management and added desks and rooms later. That is why its visitor product is still the best in class.

A former Google and Twitter engineer founded Envoy in 2013, and it is based in San Francisco. It now serves more than 16,000 workplaces. Visitors get touchless QR check-in, ID checks and risk screening, watchlist scans, badge printing, and compliance audit trails.

Its compliance coverage is the deepest here. It has SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CCPA, plus independent attestation for HIPAA Security and HITECH. It also has documents supporting ITAR, OSHA, and CMMC. That is why Envoy leads in pharma, aerospace, and healthcare.

Pricing is modular:

  • Visitors Premium costs $362 per location, each month.

  • Reservations cost $5 per bookable resource.

  • Screens cost $12 per device.

A platform fee applies on top, and Envoy does not publish it.

  • Founded: 2013

  • Services: visitor management with ID checks and watchlist screening, desk reservations and hot desking, room booking with usage tracking, parking, deliveries and mailroom

Digital signage through Envoy Screens, emergency mass alerts through Envoy Response, workplace reports, badge printing, kiosk apps with MDM rollout

  • Clients: NVIDIA, Databricks, GitHub, Abbott, HelloFresh, Tesla, AWS, Amgen, Chevron, Lucasfilm, Lyft, Panasonic, Peloton, Procter & Gamble, Snowflake and Roche, plus several US sports franchises

  • Website: envoy.com

Which Skedda alternative should you pick?

Price transparency narrows this down fastest. Four of these five publish prices, and Robin does not.

  • Desks, rooms, visitors, and coworking billing, with per-desk prices and the top user ratings: Archie is the most complete swap for Skedda.

  • You run a coworking space or own buildings, as well as employing staff: OfficeRnD.

  • More than 500 employees, with a need for scenario planning, move management, and enterprise depth: Robin.

  • A European team that wants per-user pricing and deep HR system links: deskbird.

  • Visitor management is the real problem, in a regulated industry: Envoy.
