Is Tomoson safe? What the Terms say about billing and escrow

Tomoson LLC is a real company in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and its pricing and campaign pages are live. The Tomoson Terms describe an escrow that releases money 7 days after a task is verified, with no refund after that.

A Tomoson blog post says Tomoson does not run escrow for most campaigns.

If you are asking "is Tomoson safe" before you pay for a plan or join as an influencer, the answer depends on your side.

Each side gets its own verdict below.

Pricing, Terms, and FAQ details verified 13 October 2026 from Tomoson's own pricing, Terms, and FAQ pages.

Short answer for each side

  • Brands and sellers: The free trial carries the least risk, and the Terms say it starts without a card. Paid plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable, with one guarantee on the first paid period.

  • Influencers and bloggers: Joining is free. The risks are locked accounts, slow product shipping and slow support, and the FAQ says all suspensions are final.

Who runs Tomoson

Tomoson LLC operates the service, according to the Terms. They list 7204 W 27th St, Suite 220, St. Louis Park, MN 55426. Other pages list Minneapolis.

Minnesota law governs the Terms, and claims go to the courts in Hennepin County. The Terms carry an effective date of 10 January 2018. PCrisk shows the domain was registered on 28 July 2006.

Is Tomoson safe for brands? Billing, escrow and refunds

Tomoson bills brands in advance, either monthly or for the whole year. The Terms call the service non-refundable. A partial month, a plan change, and an unused month all earn no credit.

The Tomoson pricing page lists five plans: Basic at $49, Starter at $99, Business at $199, Agency at $399, and Scale at $599.

Each price is for one month, and the page shows no yearly price. Basic allows 1 campaign at a time and 25 people hired a month. Scale allows 100 campaigns and 3,500 people hired a month.

The trial lasts 21 days. The Terms say a new business gets it without a card, and the account closes with no charge if you add none.

The trial covers up to 10 campaigns, and the Terms say an 11th campaign moves the account to a paid monthly plan.

One refund path exists. The Terms offer a 110% guarantee on the first paid period, and it needs a card on file before the trial ends.

The five conditions are listed on sites like Tomoson price guide.

Escrow comes into play when you pay an influencer through Tomoson. The Terms hold the payment until you approve the task, reject it, or 7 days pass after the task is verified, whichever comes first.

A brand that does nothing sees the 7 days run out.

Once the money is released, the Terms say "no refunds are entitled to the Business for any reason." Escrow fees apply, and the Terms list no rate.

Tomoson may change or stop the service without notice, and the Terms say it owes no liability for that.

Prices can change after 30 days' notice posted on its site.

You close a brand account with the link on the Update Subscriptions page. An email or a phone call does not count. Closing before the paid month ends stops further charges.

The Tomoson brand FAQ adds that Tomoson will not mediate a negative rating that an influencer gives a brand.

I'd run one campaign inside the trial and look for real applicants before adding a card. The cost of waiting is the 110% guarantee, which needs the card on file before the trial ends.

Where Tomoson's own pages disagree

Four points differ between Tomoson's pages.

  • What escrow holds. The Tomoson Tour page says payments sit in a neutral bank account until all tasks are done. The Terms release the money at approval, at rejection, or 7 days after verification.

  • Whether escrow applies. The Tomoson blog post on safety says escrow does not cover most campaigns. The Terms invite brands to use escrow when they pay influencers who are not posting on third-party sites.

  • All 16 listings on the Tomoson campaigns page carry the Social Deal label, which fits the blog post.

  • Disputes. A Tomoson blog post dated 26 September 2026 says the platform lists dispute rules and tells users to use its dispute system. The word dispute does not appear in the Terms.

  • The trial limit. The brand FAQ says going past 10 campaigns in the trial is cause for suspension. The Terms say the 11th campaign moves the account to a paid plan.

The Terms are the agreement you accept at sign-up, so they outrank the blog posts.

Is Tomoson safe for influencers? Data, locks, and discounted products

Joining is free, according to the Tomoson influencer FAQ. Most products are free, and some are sold at a steep discount. Each listing says how the product arrives, so read it before you apply.

On the campaigns page, 9 of the 16 listings show FREE beside a product price. The other 7 show a second price, such as $9.97 with a $1 deal. The page does not say what the second figure covers.

The FAQ tells influencers to use a coupon code within 24 hours of upload. The completion clock starts when the product ships or the code is uploaded.

The Terms add that a verified post must stay live for 60 days.

Personal data stays out of messages. The FAQ says never to give an email or blog address in the message center, because Tomoson passes the details a brand needs through its software.

Tomoson lists eight reasons for a locked or suspended account: misusing coupon codes, breaking FTC rules, breaking the Review Creation Policy, selling received products, posting fake or copied reviews, sending threats or spam, linking accounts below the follower minimum, and linking no accounts or showing zero Total Reach.

The FAQ says all suspensions are final. The Terms go further and let Tomoson suspend an account for any reason.

Late work is not on that list. A March 2019 review says accounts were locked when a product took longer to arrive than the 14 days given.

An influencer can close an account only after every hired campaign is complete, per the Terms. A September 2018 review says a reviewer could not leave a campaign early and kept getting emails.

The Terms bar payment for star reviews. A May 2022 review says Amazon sellers on the platform offered free products for 5-star reviews anyway.

Joining costs nothing. The risk is time spent on a campaign and an account that Tomoson can end for good.

What 15 dated Tomoson reviews show

SmartCustomer lists 15 reviews of Tomoson and rates it 2.5 stars. The oldest is dated 24 January 2016 and the newest 28 August 2024.

Nine reviews give 1 star, 3 give 2 stars, and 3 give 5 stars. The 5-star reviews are dated January 2016, September 2017, and June 2022.

Of the 12 low reviews, 6 read as influencer complaints and 4 as brand complaints. Two do not say which side wrote them.

The influencer complaints cover locked accounts, slow product shipping, paying for "free" products and waiting for a refund, and codes that did not work. T

he brand complaints cover support that did not answer, a disabled campaign, social accounts that would not connect, and subscription fees.

The sample is small, and no review is dated after August 2024.

Is Tomoson still active in 2026

The campaigns page counts over 4,538 campaigns, and its newest listing ID is C99614. No listing shows a date.

The pricing page and the 21-day trial offer are live. Tomoson's page data gives a last change between 16 and 27 March 2025 for its pricing page, Terms, both FAQs, Tour page, and campaigns page.

Its blog posts run as late as 26 September 2026, and the About page now describes a site for digital growth advice.

The Terms let Tomoson stop the service without notice. The brand FAQ says campaigns are normally approved within 24 business hours, which gives you a quick check inside the trial.

Whether a new brand can sign up and get campaigns approved today is not confirmed.

Is the tomoson.com website safe to visit

PCrisk scanned tomoson.com on 6 September 2026 and gave it 93 out of 100. None of the 90 engines in its reputation check flagged the site. Its file scan, which runs on one engine, marked 2 of 100 pages as medium risk: a casino deposits post and a game post. It also marked 4 of 94 linked domains as suspicious. The site carries 1,827 external links, including casino and betting sites.

MalwareTips gives 61 out of 100 and the label Moderate Risk. Its report cites 2014 Reddit complaints about email spam and notes that the site now works as a content blog.

Its saved antivirus result from 10 June 2026 shows no detections across 60 engines.

Neither scanner lists the domain on a malware or phishing database. The weaker point is the outside links in blog posts, so treat them like ads.

Who should use Tomoson, and who should wait

  • If you run a brand or sell on Amazon: Start inside the 21 day trial and check that real creators apply before you add a card. Read the escrow clause before you pay an influencer. The Terms also bar payment or reimbursement for reviews on Amazon.

  • If you are an influencer or blogger: Join free and compare each completion deadline with the shipping time before you apply. Apply only where the listing says how the product arrives.

  • If you already have an account and want out: A brand closes through the Update Subscriptions link, and an email does not count. An influencer can close only after every hired campaign is complete.

  • If you only want to open the site: Both scanners find no malware listing. Skip the casino and betting links in blog posts.

A brand cancels with the link on the Update Subscriptions page, and emails or calls do not count. Billing is non-refundable except for the 110% guarantee on the first paid period, which needs a card on file before the trial ends.

Is Tomoson free, and how much does it cost?

Bottom line

Run one campaign inside the 21-day trial, see whether real creators apply, and add a card only if they do. Influencers can join free but should expect no way back from a suspension, since the FAQ calls all of them final.

If those rules cost more risk than you want, pick a tool with a free plan from the Tomoson alternatives with prices checked instead.
