What does Cloaked cost for a year?
Cloaked's plans page opens on the yearly view. That view shows $9.99 for Individual, but Cloaked bills $119.99 for the year.
Click Monthly, and the Individual price becomes $14.99. Some older price lists still show $12.49 for Individual, which is out of date.
Take the Individual plan for 12 months.
Paying each month costs $14.99 per month. Over 12 months, that is $179.88.
Paying for the whole year costs $119.99, which is $59.89 less than 12 monthly payments.
This table shows each plan when you pay each month and when you pay for the whole year.
Plan | Each month | 12 months of monthly payments | Whole year | You save |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Individual, 1 person | $14.99 | $179.88 | $119.99 | $59.89 |

Family, you + 3 | $29.99 | $359.88 | $299.99 | $59.89 |

The yearly view shows a Save 40% badge on Couple and a Save 50% badge on Family.
The page does not say what the badges are measured against.
Against Cloaked's own monthly prices, the yearly Couple plan saves about 27%. The yearly Family plan saves about 17%.
The plans page says you can cancel anytime. To run the same check on another tool, use the annual vs monthly calculator.
How do you cancel Cloaked, and what happens next?
Cancel in the place where you pay. Cloaked's cancellation guide lists four paths:
Card: Cancel inside Cloaked. On a computer, go to Settings, then Subscription, then choose Cancel Subscription and Confirm.
PayPal: Cancel inside Cloaked, or end the automatic payment inside PayPal.
Apple App Store: Cancel in your Apple subscriptions. Cancelling from a computer may show an error.
Google Play: Cancel in Google Play. Cancelling from a computer may show an error.
After you cancel, the account turns read-only. The guide lists what changes:
Logins: You can still view and copy your saved passwords.
Data removal: Scans and removal requests stop.
Identities: You cannot make new ones, and old ones stop working for calls and texts.
Insurance and extras: The $1 million cover expires, and Cloaked Pay and the VPN switch off.
Call Guard: You must switch it off by hand.

Cloaked's Terms say a cancelled account ends when the period you paid for ends.
The guide does not say whether read-only mode starts at once or on that date.
Deleting your account is a separate step. It erases the account and all its data, and you cannot undo it.
Does Cloaked give refunds?
Cloaked's Terms of Service say charges are final and not refundable, unless Cloaked decides otherwise.
The cancel guide says refund terms sit in the Terms, and that Cloaked's support team reviews every request by hand.
Some review pages describe a 30-day money-back guarantee. Cloaked's own Terms, plans page, and billing help give no number of days.
The Terms also list who gets no refund. Accounts used for fraud, spam, or bot activity get none.
The same goes for accounts that use a VPN from outside the US or Canada to get around the location limit.
It also covers accounts that create 50 or more identities in 30 days.
Ask support in writing before you pay for the year, since the answer sets how much you risk.
How many sites does Cloaked remove your data from?
Cloaked's data removal page says 1,000+ sites. Its list puts a label beside each name: Data broker or Other website.
On 15 October 2026, the list held 354 data brokers and 705 other websites. That adds up to 1,059.
The data brokers include people search sites such as Spokeo and Whitepages.
The other websites include company privacy request pages, such as Walmart and Ticketmaster.
Counts on other pages run from 140+ to 400+. Cloaked's own list gives 354 brokers.
Its removal guide also says it may not remove your data from every source.

Does Cloaked work, and how long does removal take?
Cloaked's removal guide says, "The free scan does not remove your information." Removal requests start only after you pay for a plan.
The guide gives these timings:
First takedowns: about 14 business days after you enroll.
Fastest removals: as little as 48 hours.
Average removal: 2 to 3 weeks.
Removal across all brokers: up to 2 to 3 months.
The dashboard counts records removed, not sites removed.
Spam calls may continue in the early weeks, and Cloaked does not promise removal from every source. Data removal stops when you cancel.
What do Cloaked reviews and complaints say?
Cloaked customer reviews on Trustpilot split in two. Trustpilot shows 3.7 from 759 reviews on 15 October 2026.
Five stars make up 63%, and one star makes up 23%. Cloaked has replied to 98% of the negative ones.
One reviewer from 5 October 2026 paid for removal. After 2 months, the dashboard showed 81 exposures removed.
They say some calls from contacts went to spam, and Cloaked refused a partial refund. Cloaked replied on 6 October 2026.
A Reddit thread in r/msp has 20+ comments. The poster says they tried to cancel after a $230 charge and could not reach a live person.
Cloaked app reviews on the App Store
Apple's App Store shows 4.6 out of 5 from 25K ratings for the iPhone app.
What does the $1 million insurance cover?
Cloaked's insurance terms say AIG underwrites the policy. The limit is $1,000,000 for each policy period. Legal costs count inside that limit.
Smaller limits sit inside it:
Lost wages: up to $2,000 a week, for 5 weeks at most.
Travel costs: up to $1,000.
Elder, spouse and child care: up to $2,000.
Accountant costs: up to $1,000.
You must report a theft within 90 days of finding it. The policy pays after your other insurance pays. Cover ends when your membership ends. Losses from accounts used for business are left out.
Does Call Guard record calls, and what else do the Terms say?
Call Guard: Unknown callers hear a recording, and Cloaked may transcribe it. If you turn on Call Guard, conversations with unknown callers may be recorded and transcribed.
Some states need the other person's consent to record, and the Terms put the duty to check on you.
Calls it marks as spam are hung up on or sent to a voicemail that Cloaked records and saves. Cloaked says the AI may mark a caller as spam by mistake.
Couple and Family: Added members are charged to the main account holder's payment method.
If the main holder cancels or is removed, the other members must start their own payment. Removing a member stops that payment only after the current payment period ends.
Charges and limits: Cloaked can change its fees at any time. If something goes wrong, Cloaked's liability is capped at the smaller of what you paid in the last 90 days or $100.
Disputes go to arbitration instead of court, and class actions are not allowed. Claims must be filed within 1 year.
Which Cloaked plan fits you?
If you want to try it for a short time: Pay each month. Individual costs $14.99. Cancel before the next charge, since refunds are not promised.
If you want to keep it for a year: Individual costs $119.99 when you pay for the whole year. That is $59.89 less than 12 monthly payments.
If you share it with a partner: Couple costs $174.99 for the year. The main holder pays, and the other member needs a new plan if the main holder leaves.
If you cover a household: Family costs $299.99 for the year for you and 3 more people. The same main holder rule applies.
If you already have identity theft insurance: Cloaked's policy pays after your other insurance does.
If you only want a VPN: The Terms say Cloaked's VPN is powered by PureVPN and covers one user. See best free VPN alternatives.
